A mother of two young children recently engaged us for asbestos removal services at Eastleigh in Hampshire.
She and her family had just moved into a new home, and there was an old shed at the bottom of their new garden. The children were fascinated by it and saw it as a great place to play. Mum knew however that doing so was hazardous, as the shed was constructed almost entirely from asbestos containing materials (ACMs).
She called us in to dismantle and remove it. Our crew quickly and effectively got to work. They safely took the shed apart, and removed all materials for proper disposal. Official certification was given at the end of the job, and of course, Mum also had the satisfaction of now knowing that the garden was safer for her children to play in!
